INVESTMENT
All sessions include:
A personal phone consultation regarding outfits, artistic vision, & helpful home tips prior to session
(if shooting in home)
Approximately 1-2 hours of shooting.
A beautiful online gallary with 100+ images, fully downloadable, edited by yours truly in color and black & white, available within 6 weeks of our session together.
I love photographing families & couples in their natural habitat so I usually recommend your home or another special-to-you location. If you prefer outdoor photographs there are plenty of beautiful landscapes to choose from as well.
Travel fees may apply depending on how far outside of Boulder County we go.
FAQ
What should we wear for our session?
Rule number one: Mom or the one who cares most about the pictures chooses what to wear first. Pick something you feel amazing in! What feels like you? After you've established that you’ve got 1-3 colors to pull from already. Use these as your color palette, and dress your family members in each of the colors pulled from your look, or add more colors if your look doesn’t have enough.
I recommend adding in a few neutrals.
If you have more family members to dress, go for lighter or darker shades of those colors. Try to avoid having any two family members dressed in the exact same color unless it’s broken up between top/bottom, i.e. one family member is wearing blue pants, another can wear a blue shirt. Work with solid colors, small prints, & textures. The camera loves texture & detail, so use these to add
variety.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I am based in the Boulder Colorado area, but am originally from Utah and find myself there visiting family a few times a year, and am always up for photographing you while I'm visiting. I am available to travel anywhere else you may want me to go!
When will we get our photos?
You will receive an online gallery link with all of your photos within maximum 6 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season I photograph your story). You will have access to download all the photos from the gallery to share, choose your favorites, and also order prints through your favorite printer.
How do I know if you are the right photographer for us?
If you are looking for photographs that embody raw, gorgeous moments that make up a story, we are a good fit!
If you are wanting vulnerability & connection in your photographs, we are a good fit.
If your main goal of these photos is to get a perfect everyone smile at the camera picture, we may not be the best fit. (Although I do strive to get a couple of these shots throughout the session its not my focus)
If matchy, posed photographs are what you're after we probably aren't the best fit.
